Through utilization of Outage tracker, a customer system for planned outages of customer Turbine, the requirements of forthcoming would be ordered on the system. Historical purchase order information is used for time and material requirements (example - rentals and labor). 2. Assist in date planning and preparation of outages, maintain and updated planner. Participate in pre outage meetings with customers. Responsible for ongoing maintenance for all suppliers to meet customer compliance. 3. Facilitate mobilization and demobilization of field services and craft labors, preparation of working assignment, accommodation, transportation, shipment and required documents. 4. Identification and cataloging of buy of strategic commodities such as Crane and Rentals, Mechanical and Electrical Labor, MRO and Tooling, Bolting Services, Blasting and Non Destructive Testing, Laser Alignment, Scaffolding and Tax Compliance Commodities. The scope will include creation of template of item master in the Catalog System and Supplier Training. Templating activities will include identification of service code or part number, standardization of item description, assignment of UNSPSC, UOM, pricing and supplier identification. SPOC also will recommend strategic suppliers for Strategic Commodities. 5. Identification of Site specific buys. Where it is determined (business rules to be provided by customer Sourcing) that requirement is not to be cataloged, the Request for Material (RFM) will be processed as Purchase Order by getting multiple quotes (where possible) on a spot basis. SPOC will negotiate site specific buys to obtain the most competitive option for the business. 6. Collaboration with supplier to meet promised dates, expediting orders to fulfill emergent requirements, identification of alternate suppliers to meet delivery schedule, adding new suppliers. Collaboration with Purchasing Center to ensure Purchase Order is issued correctly using item master in catalog and timeliness of amendment of Purchase Order. 7. Responsible for monitoring PO leakage to non-contracted suppliers. Contracting of catalog items with preferred suppliers as directed by customer Sourcing. Responsible for weekly spend analysis reporting to the business and achieving saving target. 8. Be responsive to all internal customers, ensuring timeliness of receiving acknowledgement and facilitate resolution of account payable issues. This is a long-term contract position.
